Our team

Joe Procter

Managing Director

Joe Procter is our fearless leader and the driving force behind IndiBrew. Joe hails from the Yadhiagana Wuthathi peoples of Cape York Peninsula in Queensland, with a touch of Adams family magic from Darwin.

With a background in resources, corporate advisory, and private equity, Joe has spent over two decades as a trusted advisor, unlocking commercial opportunities for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses. But let’s be honest – Joe’s true passion lies in the world of brews and beverages.

Joe is a long suffering tragic of the Fremantle Dockers and is used to facing adversity on weekends.

Dennis Keane

National Operations Manager

Dennis is born and bred on Gadigal land and has deep connections with the Gadigal people through family ties and sporting clubs.

With an impressive background in liquor sales and start up beer and wine companies, Dennis ensures IndiBrew’s gears turn seamlessly. Whether it’s sales, logistics, client services, coordinating stock or managing people, Dennis knows the ins and outs of the business.

He is a mad South Sydney Rabbitohs and Melbourne Demons fan, and usually up and about in September when finals are on.

Laurel Henry

Business Administration Manager

Originally a country girl from East Gippsland in Victoria, Laurel (also know as Loz) is a Gunai woman now living on Gadigal country.

She is a highly accomplished Office/Operations Manager and has 30+ years experience working in corporate services and start-up environments.  She is a gun at implementing operational processes, managing large and small scale projects, recruitment/HR and supporting business leaders.

Some other fun facts: she’s a social butterfly, a foodie, a person who’ll never say no to a glass of champagne!, a mum to a beautiful 10yo daughter, a passionate Essendon supporter and would one day love to live in Italy for an entire season.

John O’Brien

Master Brewer

John O’Brien is a legend of Australia’s beer industry.  In 2003, he dreamed of producing a great tasting beer that could be enjoyed by everyone, free from the ill effects of mass-produced wheat and barley. Since that first commercial brew launched in August 2005, O’Brien has won over 40 local and international awards, making it Australia’s most awarded gluten free beer.

John’s role is Master Brewer and production supremo out of Rebellion’s Ballarat brewery which contract brews all our great beer products.

John loves the Richmond Tigers and has been spoilt with a few flags in recent years.

Brett Chamberlain

Technology & Business Development Advisor

Brett is from a large NSW Indigenous family from the Wiradjuri nation.  He is excited about technology and what it can do to provide a better client experience for our customers.

Brett is the founder of Patonga Projects and has over 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry. Parramatta Eels is his team and he’s still waiting for a premiership.

Glenn Johnston

Brand Ambassador & Advisory Board Member

Glenn, a Burramatta (Parramatta) man of the Dharug Nation, is a nationally and internationally recognised procurement expert and thought leader with a deep and proud passion for Indigenous business engagement and development. By helping Indigenous businesses grow and develop, Glenn firmly believes that this will lead to greater opportunities for Indigenous employment and a more inclusive economy.

Glenn is currently a non-executive director and Co-Chair of Supply Nation which is the Australian leader in supplier diversity. Supply Nation’s primary role is to verify and facilitate connection between corporate Australia and Indigenous supplier companies.
