Founder

Joe Procter

Joe Procter is our fearless leader and the driving force behind IndiBrew. Joe hails from the Yadhiagana Wuthathi peoples of Cape York Peninsula in Queensland, with a touch of Adams family magic from Darwin.

With a background in resources, corporate advisory, and private equity, Joe has spent over two decades as a trusted advisor, unlocking commercial opportunities for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses. But let's be honest – Joe's true passion lies in the world of brews and beverages, and his lil family of Renee and Ruby.

Joe is also a major shareholder of Supply Nation certified gluten free beer company, https://www.rebellionbrewing.com.au/ with founder, John O'Brien.

Joe is a long suffering tragic of the Fremantle Dockers and is hopeful of a flag in the not too distant future.

Sales and Account Management

Dennis Keane

Dennis is born and bred on Gadigal land and has deep connections with the Gadigal people through family ties and sporting clubs.

With an impressive background in liquor sales and start up beer and wine companies, Dennis ensures IndiBrew's gears turn seamlessly. Whether it's sales, logistics, client services, coordinating stock or managing people, Dennis knows the ins and outs of the business.

He is a mad South Sydney Rabbitohs and Melbourne Demons fan, and usually up and about in September when finals are on.

Operations & Stock Management

Gonzalo Voena

Gonzalo Voena hails from Argentina but now calls Sydney home and keeps IndiBrew running like a well-oiled machine. As Logistics & Operations Manager, he makes sure everything from inventory and warehousing to deliveries runs smoothly, so customers get what they need, when they need it.

He’s had extensive experience in the wine industry both here and abroad and enjoys a vino or two.

Gonzalo is also a proud supporter of La Albiceleste and never misses a chance to talk South American football. When he's not streamlining operations or solving logistical puzzles, he's focused on building strong relationships, finding smarter ways to work, and helping IndiBrew deliver every time.

Operations & Fulfilment

Gary Bell

Garry Bell is a proud Wiradjuri man who brings heart, energy and plenty of hands-on experience to IndiBrew's operations team. Working alongside Gonzalo, he helps keep the Sydney warehouse running smoothly, orders on track, and customers looked after. Whether it's coordinating fulfilment, supporting logistics or lending a hand wherever it's needed, Garry is all about teamwork and getting the job done.

Outside the warehouse, Garry is a former champion boxer who now coaches and mentors young people through sport, helping them build confidence, reconnect with culture and create positive futures. His strong sense of community, leadership and can-do attitude make him a valued part of the IndiBrew team—both on and off the job.

Administration

Olivia Bell

Olivia Bell is an administrator/bookkeeper who helps keep IndiBrew organised. From balancing the books and reconciling Xero to keeping the paperwork under control, she's the behind-the-scenes powerhouse who makes sure everything runs like clockwork.

With a practical, no-nonsense attitude and a knack for solving problems, Olivia believes there's no point overcomplicating things. If something needs doing, she'll roll up her sleeves, get it sorted and probably have a laugh while she's at it. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and the same honesty, reliability and down-to-earth approach shine through in her work every day.

IndiBrew Advisor & Founder of Rebellion Brewing

John O'Brien

John O’Brien is the Founder of Rebellion Brewing (O’Brien Gluten Free Beer) and, through Joe’s significant shareholding and involvement, a key member of our broader team.

Whilst Rebellion is a separate business from IndiBrew, its recent Supply Nation certification presents significant opportunities to pursue wholesale relationships with organisations seeking to meet Indigenous procurement and RAP spend targets, including major brewers, retailers, sporting organisations, clubs, stadia, hotel groups and airlines.

O’Brien Beers has established a strong reputation for quality and innovation, with more than 100 international awards, including World’s Best Gluten Free Beer at the World Beer Awards, more than 20 AIBA Gold medals and a World Beer Cup Silver.

John shares two adult children with wife, Sue, remains actively involved in the business and, outside of brewing, enjoys cycling and supporting the Richmond Football Club.

Glenn Johnston

Glenn, a Burramatta (Parramatta) man of the Dharug Nation, is a nationally and internationally recognised procurement expert and thought leader with a deep and proud passion for Indigenous business engagement and development. By helping Indigenous businesses grow and develop, Glenn firmly believes that this will lead to greater opportunities for Indigenous employment and a more inclusive economy.

Glenn is currently a non-executive director and Co-Chair of Supply Nation which is the Australian leader in supplier diversity. Supply Nation's primary role is to verify and facilitate connection between corporate Australia and Indigenous supplier companies.
